New Blog!
For a hot minute now, I've been working on some new web design and a new way to organize this site easier. All updates have now been moved to my blog located at http://www.keithgrieger.com/blog. There's been a lot going on after my move to Atlanta and I've been in the mood for some Spring cleaning. As for now, this site will remain where I host completed art projects, but more new photo work will be located and updated at the blog.

CHECK IT OUT!

This is Not Here Update

After a short conversation at a bar with a former Teen Vogue collegue, I decided I really needed up buckle down and edit the format for my gallery for the book This Is Not Here (2001-2007). It was well overdue. The book is comprised of photographs taken with my mother's old poloroid camera over the stated period of time. Check out the new format and read the artist statement.

I Guess It's Been A While...

Life happens... 2008 was pretty awesome. I found true love and the best friend I've ever had. He's kind of a big deal. Also, a big deal, I finally sold one of my photos from the This is Not Here series in November at a show for called ART for ALS organized by the amazing Cheryl Walople. I've trilled that the money went to a good cause. Progress for the site, my art, and my life are in the works.

What Has Been Going On...

The BFA Parsons show ended smoothly, even though it turns out I was censored by means of being moved into a tiny section of the gallery due to the "adult content" and "graphic nature" of my polaroid work. This was in response to my piece I title, "Cumshot/ Momshot," and apperently caused a stir because a woman (unbelievable) complained that she had to see my work on her way to the gallery's lunch room. Ridiculous, but true. Nonetheless, it went up and the opening was great.
